The Story
From engineer to commercial operator — and back to first principles
Pritam started as a computer science engineer. He moved quickly into product management and consulting — first at Malaysian technology firms, then at Connectiva Systems, where he ran a USD 17M consulting P&L across 17 telecom operators in Africa and the Middle East before the age of 35.
Seven years at U Mobile gave him the foundations: subscriber growth from under 2M to over 5M, Southeast Asia’s first 3G RAN sharing initiative, and a company-wide digital transformation — two CEO’s Awards along the way. Then Celcom Axiata, leading commercial strategy and analytics across a ~10M subscriber base.
M1 Singapore in 2020: Southeast Asia’s first commercial 5G launch — NSA and SA — under accelerated regulatory timelines. CEO’s Award. Then Cambodia: $200M P&L, a +10% YoY revenue turnaround, and Cambodia’s first telecom IPO.
